hjrPublishing began as a teenage dream when I was somewhere between 11 and 13 years old. It is just one of several companies I created in my mind back in those days. Like a few others, I created a logo for the company on my personal computer and even wrote a couple manuscripts that I stored on my first 2 personal computers. Here it is over 4 decades later, and it looks as if the childhood dream is about to become a reality.
I will endeavor to locate some of my early works specifically to see if I can adapt the first logo I made for the company to new file specifications, even if that means starting by scanning some very old originally printed copies. Eventually, a logo will adapted for the company. While it is uncertain at this time if I can retrieve my first written manuscripts, I am sure that if I am able to, I will have edit them if I feel that they are works that would appeal to readers today. Perhaps a collection of those works are bundled into one book might appeal to someone.
I published an article at one of the colleges that I attended in the late 1980’s that was published in either the college newspaper or a paper published in the city of Charlotte. I will endeavor to find out which at make that available as a reprint if possible.
Over the years, I have written thousands of letters, many with extraordinary stories of adventures taken, things accomplished, plots made, and plans created. I great many of those have been kept and stored. One day the opportunity to review some of those may become another collection of bundled memoirs.
It is the new stuff that in my opinion will be the most exciting though and I look forward to publishing the newest content as soon as possible. Visit again soon and checkout the latest items as they become available.
